November 16, 2007
Are you interested in becoming a virtual assistant, but you need direction or questions answered or someone to bounce ideas off of?
I’m offering one lucky winner one 30 minute coaching session (via instant messenger or phone) and one week of email coaching…for free!
Currently I’m not even offering any official coaching packages so this really is a special treat.
I’m looking forward to helping you with any questions you might have about becoming a virtual assistant!
Rules to enter:
All you need to do to enter is leave me a comment with why you’d like to win this coaching package. Make sure you leave a valid email address so that I can contact you.
You’ll need to enter this contest before Sunday at 12 midnight central standard time.
That’s it! Of course I’d be happy for you to spread the word to your friends, but it isn’t a requirement.
I’ll randomly pick a winner from the comments this Monday…and will announce the winner on the blog.
Good luck!

Got something to say?

Virtual assisting is an avenue I’m considering to transition from a full-time corporate job to working full-time at home, so I would like to win the coaching package to get mentoring from a person, such as yourself, who has personal experience in this area. Virtual assisting appeals to me because of the versatility and flexibility it possibly offers in being able to customize a work experience that fits my lifestyle. Also I’m looking forward to the different skill sets I will learn as a VA that can be useful in other entrepreneurial pursuits. I don’t have any direct administrative assisting experience, and for some reason that’s what comes to mind when I think of a VA, so I would like to know how to market my current experience in securing a virtual assisting position.
I am opening my VA doors in January 2008 and would love to receive this coaching so that I feel I am totally ready and prepared as a VA. I am very confident in my skills as a VA but not so confident at starting the business and what avenues to go down. SO I would totally love to win this contest.
I would really like to win this coaching time. I have been really trying to get started but keep hitting brick walls. I have an enormous amount of administrative skills, and am very goal oriented, but I am getting a little discouraged. I really want to be able to start working from home so that I can give my children what they need, but also need to be able to support them. I think that if I could have someone give me some perspective of what I am doing right or wrong would help me a lot.
With seasonal work.. university credit home courses and being a single Dad I have tried most everyhting to earm some extra money only to be taken or disappointed. This prize would help me focus on what is really required and having a coach to kick me along would sure help me out of the skeptical rut.
Your website has been most informative. I know that you are really good at what you do and your writing prooves it. If you choose me to help it would be an honor. Virtual Assistant is the future. After time more and more companies will be finding their way to VA’s. Being on the cutting edge of this wave is my desire.
I was sent this link to your blog from a friend of mine who told me about you. I am currently a single mom and just returned to college at the age of 34. I am looking to make a income from home, so I can balance my son and school work. Which I have to tell you in a huge undertaking. I dont know much abotu telecommuting, but I am a quick study and have the ambition to be a success. Have a great evening….
I love your website! Last month I lost my position as an Office Manager due to downsizing. I live in a rural area where jobs are scarce. I have decided to pursue my dream of working from home as a Virtual Assistant. I am very detail oriented and customer service is my #1 priority. Because of my location, I am hitting obstacles as I do not have access to high speed internet and am learning that most companies will not even consider you for the position without it. I have tried the freelance typing, data entry jobs but I am finding it is hard to compete with the overseas companies that can work for much much less. I would love some advice on how to boost my business and to contribute to my family. I want to be able to be home when my kids come home from school, and give them what they need.
Thank you for creating this website and helping others to achieve “The Dream”.
