Crissy Gipson Success Story
February 13, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Crissy started her telecommuting job search in 2003, because the job market in her field was scarce in the area that she lived in. She looked to the internet to find jobs that she could do to help bring in income while she stayed at home.
Due to her internet researching ability, she found loads of information online that helped point her in the right direction to locate a job in her field. She was able to find telecommuting jobs, that she had the right qualifications for, quite quickly. The internet provided her with the information needed to land those jobs.
Crissy relied pretty heavily on various website message boards and word of mouth to find her telecommuting jobs. She wasn’t afraid to ask many questions of the members of the message board communities that she visited. Crissy utilized these communities to research companies and figure out if some jobs were scams.
She states that the best message board communities to check out are “established message boards with members who have been working from home for a while.” Crissy says her reasoning for this is “There are a lot of other new people out there and if you fall into a message board that is full of new people, you can get misinformation.”

Kathleen K Success Story
February 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Kathleen started working from home, initially, from 2002-2004, due to some medical issues she was facing in her life at that time. She then decided to look for telecommuting jobs that she could do on a more permanent basis in 2005. She’s been working from home ever since.
She made her decision to find telecommuting work after she had her daughter. She started out working and putting her child in daycare, but she found that it was too hard to leave her there. She wanted to spend more time with her family and less time with work.
It took her about 2 years to find a legitimate company to work for from home. She says that luckily she never fell for any of the internet scams that are prevalent throughout the online world; but she admits that it’s mostly because she didn’t have the extra money to spare to pay for those types of jobs.
Kathleen utilized many work from home websites to gain enough knowledge and acquire leads to find the telecommuting jobs that she landed. She owes a lot to those informational telecommuting websites as she says she wouldn’t have found anything without them being available to her.

Virtual Assistant Training
February 2, 2008 | 3 Comments
I’m often asked about virtual assistance. Many Mom’s like the idea of becoming a virtual assistant. I used to own a VA business and it did quite well. I’ve coached a few new VA’s lately and one has seen huge success in a very short amount of time.
VA’s are in demand and the supply has not overwhelmed the demand…there is always a need for VA’s. The problem that many Mom’s run into is that they think they don’t know how to perform enough tasks to open their VA doors. Or they don’t think they know enough and so they open them up at a very low rate because of it.
If you’ve been wanting to open your VA doors, or you have and you’ve been running into projects that you just simply don’t know how to complete, then what I’m about to share with you will be just what you need.
Alice Seba opened a membership site a few months ago called Outsourcing Sweetie. This website was originally created as a resource for business owners who want to employ VA’s and other assistants. The program comes with calls, access to advice from Alice and her team, an option to use her team of assistants, and monthly training sheets to train your VA’s on tasks.
So, how does this help you? A funny thing happened…VA’s began joining Outsourcing Sweetie for the training sheets. Every month these VA’s get trained on a wide variety of tasks that’ll help them expand their skill set and the types of projects they could take on from clients.
I’ve had the chance to review the website and was very impressed. So much so that I gave Alice my testimonial of the website and have publicly stated that I would have greatly benefited from this site had it been around when I was a VA.
I don’t give my stamp of approval on many products and services…I’m picky. And this one…this one gets a 10 out of 10, two thumbs up, and all that jazz.
If you want access to this month’s training sheets you can get that for only $5.00! That $5.00 gives you two weeks in the membership site and access to this month’s training sheets. You’ll find the list of sheets below. If you decide to keep the membership past the two weeks you’ll then have access to all the archived training sheets, calls, experts and more.
